Episode description

Ever been the monitor of your class in your high school days? The thought of being the class monitor was so tempting and seemed to be lucrative, but when we think of the pressure it brings with it, everything gets ugly. The behind our back criticisms, losing our friends, the pressure of pleasing teachers and escaping their tempers, the stress of being sandwiched, all the false accusations and many more just prove that the position isn't worth the try. But what happens if there isn't any monitor at all?

Taking responsibility and being under someone's authority is always painful, and the more you submit, the more the pain and pressure, so why do it? To maintain stability and order, few of us are given powers over others, and with power comes responsibility and pressure. Also, the people who are under that authority have to subject themselves. In the end, we all work for a common good, to maintain stability, peace, order and discipline. Why do you think the Indian constitution not only gives us the citizens not only fundamental rights but also fundamental duties?
