Remember the days when we felt that our father is a superhero, or our mom is the most beautiful. How we used to think that our parents are perfect. It's only when we grow up we realize that they're imperfect. They're humans just like you and me and it gets worse when we see them make mistakes, and those mistakes impact us. It's horrible when sometimes they realize their mistakes and refuse to change. It comes to a point that we begin to hate them for who they are and all the mistakes they make. But,...
Do we stop loving them? Did they ever stop loving us? Just think of all the things they've done for us, all the sacrifices, hard work, and every mistake we made that they blindly overlooked and patiently corrected.
How wrong would it be to just say that they are bad people just because they make mistakes? We need to stick by them, hold their hand and support them when needed. Even with our spiritual guides, we need to stand by their side and support them even when they're wrong. They're humans and make mistakes, does that mean they're unfit to lead us anymore?
