The excitement on the left for Dimitri Lascaris’ candidacy in the Green Party of Canada Leadership election last year was palpable. For the first time in decades, an openly socialist candidate came within just a few thousand vote of clenching a place at the helm of a major political party. Now that the campaign is over, Dimitri joins us to discuss the future of the socialist project in Canada, the unity needed in our movement, and the organizing we must do to build socialist power at the ballot box.
