In Mark 10:17-28, we see Jesus address a young man asking how to ensure his spot in eternity (heaven). Jesus responds in a way that causes this young man to hurry away sorrowful for he realizes that he loves his riches more than God (Jesus). Jesus calls us to love Him more than we love ourselves and to follow Him wholeheartedly. Are you trading the treasures of God for a few shiny pennies?
