Batman: DarKnight (Audio Drama)

An adaptation of the unproduced screenplay from mid-1998. Batman: DarKnight was a sequel script to 1997’s Batman & Robin. The idea was conceived by Lee Shapiro and Stephen Wise, who were commissioned by WB executive Greg Silverman to draft a screenplay. The idea was later scrapped in favor of other proposals to revive the Batman franchise, ultimately resulting with Batman Begins in 2005.

Superman Lives by Kevin Smith (Audio Drama)

An adaptation of Kevin Smith's script for the abandoned Superman film from the late 90s, which would have starred Nicolas Cage as the Man of Steel. This script prompted Warner Brothers to greenlight a new Superman film, and enlisted Tim Burton to direct. Burton would later on recruit his own writers to rework the script before the film was ultimately cancelled.
