Mini PONS: Updates in the Management of Acute Ischemic Stroke

Acute ischemic stroke is a major burden for healthcare providers around the globe. This presentation will explore recent updates in the medical literature related to acute ischemic stroke in a dialogue format. Specifically, the speakers will review the place of tenecteplase as a choice of fibrinolytic for stroke including current efficacy and safety data. In addition, the management of hemorrhagic conversion and selection of antiplatelet medications for secondary prevention of stroke will be reviewed.
