Deepak and Dipankar embarked upon the mission of democratizing quick commerce in India by launching Kirana Pro, a cutting-edge e-commerce platform that leverages ONDC (Open Network For Digital Commerce) to address systemic challenges in the industry. Having known each other for over a decade, they decided to build a product from ground up and figure out a business model that empowers customers, kirana store owners, delivery agents, and the broader digital public infrastructure of India.
Dipankar graduated from IIT Delhi with a bachelors in computer science and is a published machine learning researcher. After that, he built companies and held executive roles in leading unicorns in India. Deepak is a serial entrepreneur who has build and sold companies across India and US.
