This week, Darryl M Taliaferro is joined again by Dr. John R. Faison, Senior Pastor of the Watson Grove Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee. In this episode, Darryl and Dr. Faison discuss the various challenges African Americans have faced over the years, as well as the overt and covert trauma that is associated with it. In this episode Darryl and Dr. Faison discuss how trauma causes you to say yes to things that are outside of your assignment. They discuss the importance of identifying and staying in your lane as a leader, helping youth deal with trauma and the importance of seeking counseling on the journey.
