This week, Darryl M Taliaferro is joined by Attorney Keeda Haynes, Senior Legal Advisor at Free Hearts, a Non-Profit Organization that provides support, education and advocacy for families impacted by incarceration and deportation. In this episode, Darryl asks Keeda to share her personal story of how she was impacted by the injustice of the justice system. Together, they walk a journey toward understanding both how and why Keeda was convicted for her “alleged” involvement in a drug distribution ring which subsequently caused her to spend almost four years in federal prison.
