Episode description

Oi Oi lasses, Emma Millen here for yet another episode of NE LASS CAN, a show designed to support local talent, creatives and businesses and prove that right here in the North East ANY lass can!

In this episode we speak to Isabel Hunt from Sunderland support group Autism in Mind, chatting about her own experiences with her own diagnosis and signs to look out for.

We will also be chatting to NE female rapper Kay Greyson on the stereotyping of female artists in the HipHop genre as well as dropping her FIRE new track ‘Paris’.

It’s NE LASS CAN’s tradition to finish each episode tie something creative. This time we hear a short extract from the story ‘Killing Biff and Chip’ written by Claire Alexander and performed specially for NE LASS CAN by NE actor Emily Dodds.
