The season opener for fishing at Topaz Lake is January 1. For many this has become a New Year's Day tradition. In this Nevada Wild Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with fisheries biologists Kris Urquhart and Chris Crookshanks to talk about fishing conditions at Topaz Lake, an underutilized fishery at the lake, and how anglers can give their input on a year-round season being considered for the lake.
