Gallagher Fish Hatchery

If you have ever fished at places like Angel Lake near Wells, NV, chances are you have caught fish raised at the Nevada Department of Wildlife's Gallagher Fish Hatchery. The hatchery, located on the beautiful Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge, supplies many of the sportfish in waters all over northeastern Nevada. In this week's Nevada Wild, Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with NDOW Fisheries Staff Specialist Pat Kelly to talk about the history of Gallagher Fish Hatchery, how it works and its importance to the state and anglers.
