Episode description

Listen to the whole Service from 8th November. Sung worship, a time of prayer, a Bible-reading and two short Talks are the components you'll hear.  As it was Remembrance Sunday, we also spent time thinking about acts of sacrifice by all kinds of people during times of war.

The Jews from Judah spent 70 years in exile in Babylon. It was a beautiful place, but it wasn't home. They suffered in exile and lamented and showed their grief to God. The Lord does bring us through similar awful times and sustains us as we go through them. However, as mature disciples does God want us to lament and grive for those who are suffering in Nuneaton and around the world? We are in a spiritual war and need to do what God commands us to do.
