In this last of the I Am Talks, we are reminded that nothing is outside of Jesus' control. Our response must be to worship and trust Him. Jesus is coming back. Are we ready? Are we concerned with the empty chair?
Jesus is the Messiah. What kind of Messiah was expected during the Gospel Times? We look at how the differences between the Jews and Samaritans emerged towards Messiahship. There are several different ways to baptise. At NCF our tradition is to totally immerse someone.We should baptise and this is clear in the Scripture. How it is done is not so clear in the Bible. Why we do it is more important than how we do it.It is an initiation as well as a celebration. Adults can understand and respond to the Gospel. Baptism symbolises death and newness of life.
