Pastor Mike (from Queens Road Elim) discusses the importance of putting our roots into God's Word. How do we live fruitful lives? We all need to make a conscious decision to read the Scriptures so that they get into our minds and then our hearts. Psalm 1 and Jeremiah 17:5-8 are very closely related. When there is repetition in the Bible, we know we should prick our ears even more than normal.
This Talk begins with a general introduction to our latest Series: Psalms 1-41. Psalm 23 is then discussed, especially thinking about God's Providence, Protection and Provision. The LORD is our shepherd, but we need to let Him be close to us in order for us to know it in reality.
