Two-time All-Star and 12-year NBA veteran Don Kojis joined the NBA Trades Podcast to talk about his playing career. Don grew up in Milwaukee, went on to Marquette and after his college career ended, he chose to play AAU basketball to keep his eligibility for international basketball.
We spoke about Don’s early run in the NBA with Baltimore and Detroit, getting drafted two consecutive years in the expansion draft. His rise as a two-time All-Star with the San Diego Rockets, how his time in San Diego ended in a complex contract renegotiation and how he ended up with the Seattle Supersonics.
