Episode description

In this episode, we are joined by Leo Van Hove, Professor of Economics at Vrije Universiteit Brussel to explore the idea of a cashless society.

Leo shares some of the initial findings from the Digital Payments Barometer in Belgium which reveals how attitudes to payments have changed post-Covid. We also cover what some of the benefits of going cashless could be, what can influence how people choose to pay and why going cashless could also cause challenges and problems for people.
