Episode description

The long and difficult 2022 Nationals season is now over as they were blown out 9-2 at the Mets on Wednesday evening as Erick Fedde allowed nine runs in under three innings. Al & Mark (Live from Citi Field) put in perspective how stubbornly this year ended as it was the sixth consecutive day the Nats dealt with rainy weather.

(08:03) An unexpected bright spot for this team was the bullpen, which finished in the middle of the pack amongst its MLB brethren. Erasmo Ramirez sported an ERA under 3.00 and will be a Free Agent.

(14:15) A special announcement that Nats Chat Podcast plans on returning in 2023. Thanks to all of you for listening and supporting the podcast!

(17:45) A full discussion on the ownership situation as the team remains for sale. Will this be wrapped up this off-season? It is overwhelmingly the most important priority for the team until Spring Training.
