Episode description

In today’s Meat, the boys talk about Nappi’s jealousy issues, self-sabotage, and Jay being depressed. But first, Nappi discusses fight tactics, pepper spray, failing to be mysterious, and using the phrase “long story short.” Then, Jay examines the constitutional underpinnings that led to abortion becoming a fundamental right. Abortion is a charged topic. It is rare for someone not to have an opinion on the subject. It’s insane that in 2021 women are having to still fight for bodily autonomy. What’s even more insane is the fact that the people creating laws restricting abortions have no empathy or understanding for those who wish to undergo the procedure. To think that abortions will end by prohibition is ignorant and idiotic. Instead, women seeking abortions will be forced to risk their lives in order to exercise what should be a fundamental human right. In today’s episode, the boys detail Texas SB8 and provide their opinions on abortion. I want to leave you with a question from the comedian George Carlin: “How come when it’s us, it’s abortion, and when it’s a chicken, it’s an omelet?”
