Moist Von Lipwig is a con-man, but his crimes have finally caught up to him in Ankh-Morpork. He is hanged but is saved from the gallows by Lord Vetinari, who offers him a choice: die or revive the city’s derelict Post Office. He accepts the position reluctantly, but soon realizes that the job might require all his cunning to survive the competition.
