We are a part of nature.
¶ Introduction to Nature and Our Place Within It
We are not separate. And our natural body, naked body is a part, a part of that. It's life. Thank you for tuning in your consciousness to the Naked Human podcast. I want to acknowledge your presence and what it took for you to be here today. Listening. My intention for you is that you receive what you came here for and find what you didn't know you needed.
This podcast is about what it means to be a human being and what it really means to be naked and how our relationship with Mother Nature has the power to heal us. My name is Carrie Cott and I'm a nude nature photographer, licensed physician of Chinese medicine, plant guide and wild woman embodiment mentor. I help women heal from sexual trauma, awaken their authentic voice, and distinguish between fear and intuition so they can be led by their deep feminine heart.
I bring to life in this podcast my own internal wisdom. I will only share what I've learned and experienced on a personal level as you listen, as I encourage you to take from this what you need and just trash the rest. So happy listening.
¶ Introduction to the Naked Human Podcast
I want to have a check in with you all. We're early on in our relationship here and just want to drop in about the array of conversation. Now, the title of this podcast is the Naked Human and it definitely, absolutely, completely relates to physical nudity. It ultimately relates to what it means to be a human being and connecting to our deeper individual truth. And the foundation of this conversation is rooted in nudity, like I said, and nature, our natural world.
And I see nudity such that natural world, integrated. We are a part of nature. We are not separate. And our natural body, naked body is a part, a part of that. It's life.
¶ Exploring Yoni Medicine and Sacred Practices
And so you also may hear me speak a lot about yoni medicine and different practices as it relates to engaging the yoni and tapping into this powerful, sacred part of ourselves. And if you have other genitalia, you can connect, you can connect this same practices to whatever is associated with your body. So even though I speak to yoni, what it means to be a woman, that can translate regardless of the root sacral, chakra, genitalia, expressions of your body. And so speaking to this is.
It's a, it's a part of who we are, right? It's. It's vulnerable, it's naked. And this is an important aspect of our naked body that is also highly shamed and shunned. So speaking to that part of ourselves is completely important and a part of this whole entire conversation and even dropping into root cause conversations. Previous episode is root cause of excess weight.
And this is the way that the body is attempting to communicate with us through signs and symptoms, through physical pain, through these things that happen as it relates to our body sensations, discomforts. And so it's just this human being experience of listening and connecting to our vessel and then our vessel being and woven aspect of our natural world. And so as we communicate and connect with nature ourselves, as nature, we connect deeper within ourselves.
And so all of these conversations that I'm sharing are all an opportunity and an avenue to come home to yourself in some way, shape or form in the human being experience which is a part of the world and everything that exists within it. The trees, the people, your yoni, the plants, the animals. And so all these pieces are available to come deeper within yourselves.
And when the medicine of nudity is experienced in relation to all of these things, it becomes, from my perspective, deeper, more profound medicine and healing it.
¶ The Transformative Experience of Nudity in Nature
Just that breath there, I feel like, just explains it. Like it just opens up a space. So interacting with a tree naked is completely different than interacting with a tree with your clothes on, cuddling with your cat. If you have a cat, I have two. Naked is different than when you're clothed. Hugging your child, your niece or your nephew is different when you're naked. Working with passion flower, mint, mullein, spruce, sage is different when you're naked.
Being in the sun is completely different when you're naked than when you have a bathing suit on or clothed. Like your whole body is engaged in that experience. And maybe you're listening. Like I already know this, you know, maybe you're listening. You're like, yeah, yeah, new things are opening up. Wherever you are is perfect.
¶ The Intentionality Behind Conversations
And I just wanted to drop in to reiterate the purpose of every conversation that happens here and communicate with you that behind the scenes, for me, it is very intentional and I'm going to use the word strategic. And I fucking love that it's super mindfully orchestrated to tap into all these different places of self bringing home to your natural being. And of course, I'm speaking to conversations that I'm connected to, that I have experience and that I have years, decades of connection with.
And it's all in invitation rooted in your bare naked beingness. So I have a smile on my face and you can't see it. Thank you. I love you. We are complete. For now. Do. Thank you for tuning your consciousness to this episode of the Naked Human.
