Episode description

Wendy Troxel from the NACADA Center for Research hosts Dr. JP Villavicencio from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, to discuss the findings from his dissertation, “Flipped Academic Advising: An Advising Approach Within the Social Work Department at a Regional Comprehensive Four-Year University.” Dr. Villavicenio also describes his use of “action research” design in this study, which has implications for both professional development and appropriate uses of evidence toward important advising-related learning outcomes.
