Shortly before midnight on September 11, 2001, Henryk Siwiak was fatally shot on a street in Brooklyn, New York. Henryk's case remains unsolved; and has been described as "the last person killed in New York on 9/11", although his death was unrelated to the terror attacks earlier that day.
