Summer Reruns 2018 - Mission Impossible

In honor of the big summer blockbuster Mission: Impossible - Fallout, starring Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin , we remind you of a time where Jean Reno and Emilio Estevez could open a movie with Tom Cruise, let alone a movie. We are watching Mission Impossible!

This surprise remake of an old TV property with the twists and turns that on Brian de Palma could deliever,  led to other remakes like The A-Team, The Avengers (with Uma Thurman), the Saint, and SWAT. Hey, at least some of these sequels are pretty good.

Also, thanks to those who watched me at Cineprov riff Rocky IV! Tune in next month for Troll 2 on August 2nd! It's guaranteed to be something great!
