(00:14):
Hi, I'm Lisa Spector your pet calming Maestro. My Julliard degree has gone to the dogs and I couldn't be happier about it.

(00:21):
Welcome to episode three of my Zen pet, where we share music for you to have a Zen pet household at home, along with training tips.

(00:30):
Today, before I play a Scriabin and prelude for the left hand only, I'm going to share a very short training tip, which is really more of an observation.

(00:39):
I want you to observe your animals at home. When you put on sound, whether it's music or the TV or a podcast, do they go near the source of the sound or do they go away from the source of the sound? If you have speakers out of the ground, do they put themselves by the speakers so they can feel the vibration?

(00:59):
I've had dogs my entire life and I've played the piano since I was seven.

(01:04):
And every dog I've ever had has always come by my side while I'm playing the panel often putting I had a golden retriever. Once he put his head on my pedal foot, it made for a little bit of a workout, but I couldn't remove it. It was just too cute and too fun. And I also had a Cocker spaniel growing up, who went deaf her last two years of her life. And she'd still come from whatever she was in the two-story house and be by my side while I was playing the piano.

(01:31):
Speaking of which, I'm about to play a piece for, left-hand only written by Scriabin, a late 1800 composer out of Russia and played compose the most gorgeous melodies, including this one.

(01:44):
Since you can't see my hands, you're only listening. I don't think you'd even know. There are only five fingers on the keys is three voices played with five fingers, such a beautiful melody.

(01:55):
I hope you and your pet household. Enjoy it. Thank you.

(02:09):
[Music]

(04:32):

(05:26):
What do they think about the first podcast with music for pets?
