It's kind of like those of you that follow me on Instagram I post these daily affirmations and encouraging posts to lift you up , so why not do that in the podcast as well ?
So I want to take a moment to speak to you directly , to those of you who may be dealing with chronic illness Now , I assume because this is a podcast about chronic illness , that's why you're here . So , living with a chronic condition , it can be an everyday challenge . It's essential to recognize that it is okay not to be okay .
Alright , repeat that to yourself . It is okay to not be okay . We are so used to putting out that answer of I'm fine to everyone all the time , even when we're not . So , whether you're navigating pain , fatigue or the emotional toll that can accompany chronic illness , your experiences are valid and your feelings matter . Remember that self-care is not selfless .
It is a crucial part of managing your well-being . Some days may be tougher than others , and that's perfectly okay . Give yourself the grace to acknowledge your struggles and to take the time you need to rest and recharge . Alright , that's all I have for you today , and until next time , don't forget your spoon .
