Interview: From Planning Her Own Wedding to Planning Weddings: Ms. Gabi Hughes

In a tale as old as time, Gabi planned her own wedding and promptly fell in love. Over the last decade, she's worked in catering, corporate, and hotels, working her way up from a summer event intern to launching her own business as a wedding planner. Working in wedding venues and hotels gave Gabi the hospitality and catering experience needed to serve her future clients, while corporate gave her the cross-country experience needed for destination planning. As she’s come to learn over time, it’s the details that matter most. It doesn’t take long for Gabi to latch on to what’s most important, ensuring the weddings and events she designs are perfectly “you”.

When she’s not planning weddings, you’ll find Gabi chasing around her four boys, making travel plans with her wife, or baking her top-secret recipe chocolate chip cookies.
