About Dr Murphy 

Dr. Murphy is Goodrich Chair and Head of the J. Frank Barefield, Jr. Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A multi-award-winning educator, he is one of America’s leading entrepreneurship scholars and has trained and consulted to entrepreneurs, companies, and universities across the US and around the world. He has invested in and led entrepreneurial ventures in the social enterprise and racing sectors. A range of major media outlets cite his work and perspectives on entrepreneurship phenomena, education, and ecosystem development.
