Episode description

In part one of this two part episode, our guest host, Christine, and I look at the history of voting in America and the timeline of amendments created that allowed for Americans to have their voice heard. There were many years of petitions, marches, and hard work from citizens to get to where we are now in our right to vote. While we've come a long way, there is certainly still a ways to go to continue to engage our country to vote in elections. This topic could go on for much longer than this episode, so we encourage you to look further into any of the events mentioned in today's episode and share with us on twitter @MyOvariesMadeMe any information you come across that we may have missed, or not had enough time to cover in full detail. As always, we are all learning here, so come join the conversation, and make sure to check out tomorrow's episode where we go more into detail about this year's Presidential election.
