This one came came to me all the way in in March March of one. That's that's years ago as far as I'm concerned. But it's a a a message I'm excited about because it came from a person named Brandon who who wrote to me and came with a conspiracy theory I have neither heard nor considered,
but is an interesting one. Brandon said, Brandon from Louisville, Kentucky. That's how he he introduced himself. It was Brandon from Louisville, Kentucky. Comma as if like he announced himself at a at a gala, You know what I mean That that's sort of the energy of the way this email starts. But but Brandon said, the porn industry invented the page fat ass white girl category to compete against black women in porn.
Black women owned the market on fat asses, and they couldn't stand that pugs are just here to push black women out of the industry. Love the show. Keep telling these people the truth. And that is the end of the email. It is short, it is concise. It is talking about fat ass white girls and black women and porn, and I am goddamn excited. I will say that that unfortunately or fortunately, I'm not sure how you feel about it. And I'll be honest, I'm not really a porn guy.
Don't watch a lot of porn. I think, uh, I think something in me is is a little more interested in uh, into his real real bodies. You know, I'm just a classic man in that way. But you know I'm not a big porn guy. That doesn't mean I don't beat it. Hey, hey, folks at home, that doesn't mean I don't beat that meat. It's I'm just not

But but it is an interesting question, nonetheless, and I needed to star art if I'm gonna really take on this conversation, Brandon, I needed to start this by understanding why black men why black women tend to have bigger butts? I almost said black men have bigger butts, which is probably true, but not something that I think categorically is uh the thing that we're tracking here. But why do black women tend to
have bigger butts? And one of the things I read, which I don't know to actually be true because it came from a random on Cora, but they said that Europeans are more likely to carry weight around their middle and this is an adaptation to a winter summer cycle. This kind of weight is easy to put on and take off as food becomes more or less available, while Africans are more likely to carry weight in their butts and thighs. This is an adaptation to multi year feet
slash famine cycle. This kind of weight is harder to put on and take off as food becomes more or less available. And I don't know if it's true, but it sounds very scientific, very learned, you know what I mean, and so I tend to believe it now. If true, this adds some perspective on why these differences and body types persist even after generations of living in similar environments
in America. Right, like, big old, big old Southern whites ain't getting fatter asses necessarily, They're just getting thicker in the middle. And that sort of makes sense because y'all are eating corn bread the same way Black people are eating corn bread. Your corn bread just hits you in different places. But then it got me thinking about the larger question, which is preference. Right, specifically, which body type do men or the people who are attracted to women
most often prefer. And I won't bore you by dragging on about the generations of white people who pretended not to like big butts just to help comfort their poor pancake bootied wives. Or the way that the fashion industry intentionally made the thin women the target so that they could support a type of woman that looked like the community they wanted to service. This is all known. I'm not gonna do it, but I did read an article called do men hold African American and Caucasian women to
different standards of beauty? And that piqued my interests because in this article their research shows that while both black and white men prefer a lower waisted hip ratio, you eve all heard, uh sir, miss mix a lot song? You know you want that thin waste, you want the big round thing in your face. I think is is some version of the lyrics, But the point is we were all men apparently like a low wasted hip ratio, but black men surprisingly did not choose heavier women as
their ideal as previously expected by these researchers. These researchers presumed that black men would like heavier women. In fact, the ideal body type for black and white men was much closer than ever recorded, suggesting that black and white men have become more similar than different in their physical preferences, and that cultural associations are more of an antiquated holdover then the major separator we once believed them to be.
They're basically saying, like, for for generations, we thought only black men were the ones that like big old butts, and it didn't matter how thick a woman was. We were desperately all fawning over these women. And now they're saying that it's become a little more of a of an equal attraction to a type of woman that may or may not be a thick old a thick old thing as it were. Now one has to assume, one has to assume that a large contributor to this change
is the Internet. Right, the Internet and the standardization of body types through things like i g. Models, angles on camera phones, lighting augmentations, and of course pornography. Now, this is the first period I think in human history where we can were we and I use the royal we in this sentence, where we the royal we can see the bodies of people who who do not share any cultural or ethnic or personal connections with us, and then
we can copy that body for ourselves. Right, we can literally copy and paste another nigga's body onto our body, and if that's never existed before, they weren't doing that back in Roman times, at least I don't think they were. And if they were, shut the funk up about it. I made my choice not to learn anything, so so why would you come around trying to teach me something?
You're dumb bitch. Anyway, this is the first time in human history, and subsequently, the black woman, the form of the black woman does not belong solely to black women anymore, whether right or wrong, black women ain't the only ones who can have these black women bodies because as it can easily be obtained through a little bit of lighting
and photoshop. And that's crazy. And although I could not find the exact origin and rise of the so called pug, these these fatass white girls, and they're the fatast white girl category. I read a few articles that suggested the porn industry is very much a reflection of our real lives. So when we see a trend towards tolerance in society and and new communities and cultures sort of rising up, it is often reflected in our porn searches, which leads me to believe Brandon if we're we can get back
to this fatass white girl conversation. It leads me to believe, based on all of this, that the pug rise, the rise of fatass white girls, may be the result of the rising racial intolerance in this country. I think you're onto something that this is a separator that's happening because for years, white men had to beat off to ebony porn in secret because it was the only way to theoretically access the body type that black women possessed and
that white women rarely offered. However, now they have an alternative, and given the polarization of where about whether or not black lives even matter even when they're attached to a fat ass, it seems only logical that they would instead rely on getting their curvaceous rocks off without any of
the ethnic politics attached. Basically, you can see a fat ass without having to deal with the person attached to that fat ass because it's attached to a fat ass white girl, and that makes you feel American and and wholesome and Christian, you know, just a good Christian white ass instead of these these counter culture uh monkey white
monkey black asses, you know what I mean. It's all, it all seems to be connected that we we are creating spaces to separate people by doing the the opposite of what seems to be happening, which is making bodies equal and egalitarian. That's that's my interpretation of it. Brandon. I think you're onto something. I do think that. I don't know that I believe that the porn industry intentionally did this, right, I think I think what we're seeing is that the porn industry recognized and an urgency I
want from their users. And then they then responded in in kind right. They they said, Oh, these white dudes want to see big old butts, but they don't want any shame attached to it by looking at black women, and so we will encourage and promote more white women with big old fat asses and and boil boy, is that maybe working against us? Maybe this is creating more divide in the country as it were. I'm not sure, Brandon, but I do know you're probably watching too much porn.
