The Moment That Changed Everything: Part One

Things are about to get a little heavy on my next podcast series; this is just me being honest with you, my followers who I value and appreciate so much. The truth is that life isn't always butterflies and rainbows, I know this first hand. I have faced many demons over the years, and this experience, in particular, was pivotal in shaping me into the person I am today. In one chapter of my story, I endured sexual abuse for four years. I have healed through this trauma, and I am sharing it with you to offer total transparency. I am not a victim. I am passionate about sharing this chapter of my story with you for one purpose. CHANGE. 1 in 4 women in North America will experience sexual assault in their lifetime this is just of the reported cases and does not include how often this happens to men. As I share my story, I will also have the privilege of educating our community through guest speakers who will provide resources, advice and help to others who have endured a similar crime.
