বদরের যুদ্ধ দ্বিতীয় হিজরির 17 রমজান মাসে মদীনা থেকে 80 মাইল দক্ষিণ পশ্চিম দিকে অবস্থিত একটি প্রান্তর নাম বদর সেখানে এই যুদ্ধ হয়েছিল তাই এই যুদ্ধের নাম রাখা হয়েছে বদরের যুদ্ধ| বদরের যুদ্ধ হলো ইসলামী আন্দোলনের সর্বপ্রথম যুদ্ধ এই যুদ্ধে প্রিয় নবী মুহাম্মদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাই সাল্লাম 313 জন সাহাবী নিয়ে 1000 কাফিরের সাথে যুদ্ধ করেছিলেন এবং কাফেরদের পরাজয় করেছিলেন |এই যুদ্ধে মুসলমানদের 6 জন মুহাজের এবং 8 জন আনসার শহীদ হলেন আর কাফেরদের 70 ব্যক্তি মারা গেল এবং সমসংখ্যক লোক বন্দি হল|
