Hello, and welcome back to a new episode of Musings of a Tired Nigerian Girl. It’s been a while. The last time I was here was after Small Sallah, and I was unwell. Since then, a lot has happened, now I’m back in Kaduna. This episode is just me showing up again. I don’t have everything figured out, but I missed this space and I want to ease back into it. Thank you for sticking around.
Hello my love, how are you doing? How have you been! On this episode I talk about unlearning and taking responsibility for my self, whether that be emotionally, physically, mentally. Refuse to be silenced my love. Until next time xo Love Hikmah A Tired Nigerian Girl
So we are now a bi-weekly podcast! It’s a good thing, trust me. On this episode I share what I learnt from reading “Deep work” by Cal Newport. I hope one or two things stick with you. I would totally recommend this and like I say, please before reading or diving into the world of self help, please and please learn about your self first. That’s the best way to start and the best way to get the highest reward from them - Instagram - www.instagram.com/motng_ Instagram- www.instagram.com/tired_niger...

You ever notice how, for like two weeks, you’re on top of the world, productive, organized, crushing your to-do list, then suddenly, boom, you’re questioning every life choice you’ve ever made? Yeah, welcome to the luteal phase. In this episode, I’m ranting about the absolute betrayal of being a woman, spilling on my big move to a new city (chaos? maybe), and getting real about decisions, progress, and the never-ending feeling of wtf am I doing? It’s fun, it’s unfiltered, and you might just rela...

I have learned to prioritize my well-being without feeling lazy. how to set boundaries that actually stick, and why sometimes the most productive thing you can do is… nothing. If you’ve ever felt bad for taking a break, this one’s for you!
