With the likes of Berklee, Spotify, and numerous Live Nation touring venues, Boston has quickly become a lively music hub. South Boston, however, is an often overlooked neighborhood full of an energetic crowd but minimal music. The Playwright, a classic bar and restaurant in South Boston, has recently undergone a complete redesign, allowing for a 2.5x increase in capacity and the addition of a state-of-the-art sound stage. This renovation prioritizes live music, bringing live music performances to South Boston five days a week!
