Episode description

Ewan is another long-time colleague and friend about whom I found out things I didn’t know, by having him on Music Talks. I knew he had a passion for many things including cars, antique watches and technology.  What I hadn’t realised was how deep his love for music is, nor that we shared a deep and common interest in the Space Program of the 60s.

It’s a wide-ranging musical discussion that spans Perry Como to Stormzy and, as can be seen in the 41 songs in the Spotify playlist, an awful lot lot in between.

My personal highlight was Ewan introducing me to the Public Service Broadcasting album “Race for Space”; as they used to say in the AM radio days, it’s been on constant rotation at Smith Towers since our recording. I would encourage everyone to take a listen to the album.

Finally, it may well only be me that will notice, but this is the first episode where I have been entirely happy with the audio!

Enjoy the episode and, as always, all feedback is welcome.
