Episode description

When 19-year-old Jade Williams’ dad was away working on a fishing boat and her grandmother was out of town in August 2017, she used it as an excuse to throw a party at her home in Kake, Alaska with some of her friends, sort of a belated birthday party as she had turned 19 only three days previously. By 9:30 that night, the neighbors were calling Alaska State Troopers because Williams was unresponsive.

On this episode, I also talk about the staggering number of missing and murdered Native Women throughout the US. You can find resources for this episode below.
