30-year-old Nikki McPhatter was on top of the world in 2009. She was recently discharged from the Navy after serving ten years and was anxious to build a successful life for herself. She knocked down many professional goals and worked through graduate school, earning an MBA. She owned her home in CHarollete, NC.
