Episode description

Dave Kroupa experienced a surge of excitement when he encountered Cari Farver in 2012. At the time, the Nebraska resident had recently ended a long-term relationship with his girlfriend. Meeting the single mother from Iowa, who was 37 years old, was not something he anticipated. Kroupa, however, was not seeking a serious commitment. During their initial date, he made it explicitly clear that he had no intentions of being tied down.

This revelation is shared by Kroupa in the upcoming Netflix documentary, Lover Stalker Killer, set to premiere on February 9. In an exclusive clip, he recounts how Farver seemed unfazed by his stance, stating that it was just meant to be a fun and casual experience. Kroupa was thrilled by her response and eagerly embraced the opportunity. Alongside his newfound freedom as a bachelor, Kroupa also ventured into the realm of online dating.

“That's when Liz came into my life,” says Kroupa. “She was very smiley, energetic. She liked motorcycles. I had a motorcycle. That was a match made in heaven.”
