Episode description

A forthcoming documentary will explore the disturbing case of a seemingly loving daughter who orchestrated a plan to murder her own parents, causing shockwaves in a peaceful Canadian town.

Jennifer Pan, a resident of the affluent Markham neighborhood, spent nearly ten years constructing a web of deceit to conceal her declining academic performance and forbidden love affair. However, her parents eventually began to uncover the truth.

Bich Ha and Huei Hann, who had fled to Toronto as refugees from Vietnam, ultimately confronted Jennifer. In response, she devised a scheme to stage a home invasion and have them killed.

At the age of 24, Jennifer paid $10,000 to hired assailants who entered their family home and shot her parents in the head. Remarkably, her father survived the attack.
