Shot in the Dark: Ryan Waller
Episode description
When Heather Quan is found dead in Ryan Waller's apartment the police automatically assume it was Ryan. I mean he is alive and seems fine besides a gnarly black eye...it has to be him, right? Isn't it always the husband, well in this case the boyfriend? In this case looks might be deceiving. Ryan tells police after he is with them for over 9 hours that he was shot in the eye. The police don't buy this because logic says Ryan would be dead if he was shot in the eye. However, after those 9 hours police allow him medical attention and lo and behold, Ryan was shot in the face TWICE. It would be Ryan's death from a seizure because of his injuries that light a fire under police to get the real killers. The question remains did the police cause the death of Ryan Waller or were they just doing their jobs?
