Among this new change up of writers, Tom King was handed the reins to Batman, one of DC's flagship characters. This seemed a wise choice as he was an up and coming writer who was gaining a pretty big following over the last couple years. Now Tom King's time on Batman has come to an end and there is a large divide in the reception of this entire volume.
