The Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale opens its 51st season with an orchestra concert, conducted by Lewis J. Buckley. The concert will be on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 7:30 in the SBM Foundation Auditorium, Manchester Community College, Manchester CT. Program includes Beethoven's Third Symphony (the Eroica), Glinka's Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture, and Bach's Violin Concerto No. 1, with Cynthia Knotts, MSOC's own concertmaster, as soloist.
