Christian Zyp interviews Nik Sexton (director/writer) and Sean Dalton (actor) about the film SKEET. You can see it at the Metro Cinema Sat April 19th, 2025 at 3:30 pm. Nik Sexton will be in attendance for a Q&A after this screening.

SKEET follows Billy Skinner (Sean Dalton) after being recently released from prison. He returns to his transformed low-income neighbourhood and finds that assimilating is more difficult that he thought. BIlly has to negotiate a strained relationship with his mother and a son he left behind. The neighborhood has changed and so has Billy. Struggling to overcome his dark past, Billy forges an unexpected bond with Mo (Jay Abdo), a compassionate Syrian immigrant determined to build a better life for his family. Sean Dalton received a nomination for Performance in a Leading Role, Dram at the 2025 Canadian Screen Awards for his portrayal of Billy Skinner.
