Episode description

***SPOILERS***

The Night House premiered at Sundance all the way back in January of 2020. Flash forward to late August of 2021 and it’s just hit your local multiplex. Directed by David Buckner from an original screen play by Ben collins and Luke Piotrowski, the psychological horror tells the story of Beth (played by the wonderful Rebecca Hall) as she unearths both literally and figuratively the secrets kept by her late husband Owen in the wake of his Suicide.

It would be difficult to say what is more terrifying, confronting your fear of death, loss and abandonment or learning that the person you’ve loved for so long might not have existed at all.

On todays episode we will not only hash out our thoughts and feelings on The Night House, but we will also try to connect it to existing milestones in the genre. Think of it as the horror version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Once again, thank you for listening. Please enjoy the show.
