Episode description

This episode ia an introduction to running for children.  Our special guest is Alexia Mussleman.  She started running in elementary school and then ran track and cross couontry in middle school.  She qualified for the AAU Junior Olymics National meet in Baltimore when she was in 8th grade.  She lettered in track four years in high school while also playing soccer and basketball.  During high school she was able to run in the Indiana state meet twice.  She presently runs for fitness and completed a 50 mile race in the summer of 2023.  She loves kids and is presently a youth minister in New England.  

Alexia will talk to us about how to help your kids enjoy running and how to be a good example for them as a parent.  Her advise is to show up. and be positive at all times.  This podcast can benifit the child that runs for fitness or for competition.  In the end the hope is that your child will continue to be active as they trasition into adulthood.
