Episode description

Mountain Murders episode 151 takes a look at one of Virginia's most famous cases. Gina Hall was a college freshman who went to a Blacksburg night club on a summer night in 1980. She was never seen again.

An investigation leads police to a former college football player with a violent past. Despite the fact there was no body, Stephen Epperly was charged with her murder. The case set a precedent and became known as Virginia's first entirely circumstantial murder conviction.
