This week's episode brings you to Patron suggested cases. First, Mountain Murders travels to Newport, Tennessee to discuss the brutal murder of a young woman named Megan Maxwell. Megan went missing in the early morning hours of April 26, 2009 --her burned vehicle turns up a few hours after she's last been seen. The investigation takes 19 months before a person of interest comes into focus. Our second case involves a woman named Teresa Lewis, known to have a low IQ, who becomes entangled in an extramarital affair. A murder for hire plot leaves two dead.
