In 1970, a federal antipoverty worker's body is found on a secluded wagon trail in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Secrets, rumors, and a good old boys club seemed to hinder the investigation. Without new leads or evidence, the case goes stagnant until an informant comes forward with information.
