Ten Words | Part 2: The 2nd Commandment - No Idols | Jason Montano

In the 1st commandment, God instructs His people that they were to have no other gods before, or besides, Him. In the 2nd commandment, God now instructs that there are to be no idols created or worshipped. Coming from the Egyptian culture, this commandment would make sense as they all came from a multi-god society. However, we don’t see many people today having statues in our homes we worship. Is it possible we still have idols in our lives that take our adoration and attention away from the one true God?
