Episode description

We say that the Bible is inerrant (that is, it contains no errors), yet the longer ending of Mark appears in double-brackets in most modern English translations. These double-brackets indicate that those verses are unlikely to have been included in the original manuscript. How do we deal with such passages? In today's combination sermon & lecture, we get an introduction to textual criticism, inerrancy, and the sufficiency of the Word of God as originally penned by its Holy Spirit-inspired authors.
