Mark 16:9-20 - Inerrant?

We say that the Bible is inerrant (that is, it contains no errors), yet the longer ending of Mark appears in double-brackets in most modern English translations. These double-brackets indicate that those verses are unlikely to have been included in the original manuscript. How do we deal with such passages?
